Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well, until it's time to replace the battery I bought my A300 for Christmas 2015. I think it's a great watch, and that the H7 sensor is really accurate. HOWEVER, it is no longer financially viable to own so I will be exploring other options. I have to change the battery for the second time already, which I am not too surprised by because I use it a lot. The problem is the battery cover, which is made from some flimsy plastic that gets easily damaged, even when following the directions for sensor maintenance when not in use. I used a nickel to try and remove the cover and with the damage, it became really difficult so I took it to Radio Shack and they couldn't do it either so I gave up, bit the bullet and bought a brand new sensor. Now the battery in this new sensor needs to be replaced after just 5 months and I am having the same problem with cover removal, however I refuse to buy yet another sensor, as they are very expensive and I don't want to just collect straps. I will look into other watches and HRMs, making sure that my investment is worthwhile. I am disappointed; you would think Polar would have something more durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use it 5 times a week 2 years, no issues. Replaced the battery and the chest strap only once. Pairs easily to the A360. I primarily use if for cycling with durations from 50 minutes to over 2 hours. I do take the battery out once every few months to check it on an external battery meter, and was surprised that it still had ~10% remaining after 13 months of regular use. Even with the A360, I prefer the H7 because of the increased accuracy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great when it works Mine still works after two years, though not consistently. Whenever I disconnect the strap for washing, I have difficulty getting up and running again. I often have to do a factory reset, which involves removing the battery and touching the receptors for ten seconds. And those lithium ion batteries need replacing far more often than suggested. When I can get a bluetooth connection, it's solid. When I can't, I can't hope to get it working without opening it up and tinkering and possibly replacing the battery. Good, but needs improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Features I purchased this several weeks ago replacing a competitor brand outdated wrist watch type device. wow.... the ease of use, the features and synced with my iPhone .... I also found a handle bar device to hold my I phone that allow me to see real time cadence speed heart bpm and a miriad of reporting and benchmarking. Get one and you will not regret it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great when new but The H7 functioned flawlessly when new but then the strap started to loss its elasticity, the plastic started to crack and the paint on the metal part peeled within less than 6 months of daily use. The battery needed to be changed twice a month if used daily. The battery hatch is made out of cheap plastic that started to strip after a few battery replacement. After 3 to 4 battery changes (2-3 months of use), it is nearly impossible to open stripped out battery hatch.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Can't replace battery To quote a previous reviewer: "However, one big problem...the battery cover on the back has become stuck and I can't unscrew it to replace the battery. I was able to do it the first couple of times without a problem, but it's stuck solid now. I tried with a coin as I'm supposed to, but it only ended up damaging and bending the plastic sides of the groove, so nothing can open it now." Polar's advice in response to this reviewer will not work as you cannot remove the cover to clean around it. Basically I have a great HRM that I can't use because the battery is dead. There has to be a better way to handle the battery cover so that the groove doesn't strip so easily.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Battery Issues I've had for almost two years, and have been through 4 batteries. Yes I know to take off the the strap. Changing the battery out is the worst and almost impossible. After this last battery change it just stopped working and the app never would stay on to track my hr. I only use because recommended by trainer and we all use to track our progress to workout, but I will not buy another one.
