About the Role:
We are looking for a Key Account Manage to join our Sales team.
The Key Account Manager for the Amazon EU channel is responsible for driving sustainable growth and brand visibility across Amazon’s European marketplaces. This role focuses on maximizing sales performance, optimizing operational execution, and implementing strategic account initiatives in close collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and Amazon’s retail teams.
Key responsibilities in this role you will:
Account Management & Growth
- Act as the main point of contact for Amazon EU Vendor Managers, managing day-to-day business operations, promotional planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive commercial and sales growth across EU marketplaces through data-driven decisions, assortment optimization, and structured business planning.
- Monitor sales performance, product availability, and category trends; proactively identify growth levers and underperformance drivers.
- Lead annual and quarterly business planning cycles, including forecasting, and promotional roadmaps (deal calendar).
- Coordinate successful product launches and go-to-market planning with internal stakeholders.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure flawless execution of operational processes including order management, forecasting, and inventory health across Amazon EU.
- Partner with the supply chain and operations teams to minimize out-of-stocks, chargebacks, and delivery delays.
- Monitor and action Amazon KPIs (CRaP risk, price discrepancies, operational scorecards, chargebacks, delivery performance).
Commercial Execution & Business Development
- Monitor Buy Box dynamics, market pricing trends, competitor activity, and content landscape to ensure sustained category advantage.
- Recommend and implement sales acceleration levers such as retail media optimization, cross-selling, bundles, Amazon exclusives, etc.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze weekly and monthly business performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Translate data into clear insights that drive actionable decisions and continuous improvement.
- Prepare business reviews and performance reports for internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Product Management) to align on strategic priorities and tactical execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with Amazon Vendor and Retail teams across EU marketplaces.
Our expectations
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce account management, preferably with Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and driving growth in a digital retail environment.
- Excellent analytical and Excel skills with the ability to transform data-driven insights into actionable business opportunities.
- Strong operational and project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in another EU language is an advantage.
- Familiarity with retail analytics tools (e.g., Helium10, Jungle Scout, Keepa) is a plus.
Location is preferably in Helsinki, but it can be any of the Polar locations in Finland (Kempele, Jyväskylä, Tampere).
