Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy replacement The battery on my older HR monitor sending unit went out over a year ago. I wish I had taken the time to go online and purchase a replacement much sooner. It was easy, the service was fast, and the price was reasonable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mixed Bag The T31 works exactly as it should, accurately (I believe) transmitting my heart rate to my Polar watch. The only problem I have with it is that I hate wearing it and really wish Polar would develop and sell a wrist based HR unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MY third one... and counting This is the third one of these I have had. They all have done what I need them to do, giving me valuable feedback on my workouts. Their performance has been consistent and valued. The only thing is that I swim a lot and eventually the water wears out the elastic, so I buy a replacement. Overall I am quite happy with this product and its companion Watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CE0537 with T31 Transmitter is a Great Product I bought a Polar CE0537 Heart Rate Monitor with a T31 Transmitter around 2004 and have used it almost daily since then. I am in the Army Reserve and have taken it with me through four mobilizations including trips over seas and never had a problem. They are a little beat up but they still work well. I would say that they are very robust products after twelve years of use. The battery for the watch is easy to find and replace. I have never had a problem with the transmitter battery. I probably do need to replace the straps. These are great products and I recommend them. I never go for a run without them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using t31 again Since receiving my T31c this month I have started working out. I had a heart transplant 20 months ago and needed to monitor my new heart closely. T31c working great with my polar f6 watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for my needs In 1999 I had a heart attack. Upon recovery I purchased a treadmill which had the option of using the T31 strap unit. Been using them ever since without any problems

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too bad I have a treadmill by Precor that came with a Polar Heart Monitor belt. The model that came with it, had a snap on "brain" for it that took a battery. Unfortunately the slot where a coin goes to open the battery compartment became stripped so I could no longer gain access to the battery. I went online to Polar's site and discovered that the replacement belt now has the battery built into the belt so that when it dies, one must dispose of the belt entirely and buy a new one. I strongly dislike that. The new belt also seems to lose connection to the treadmill while I am walking. This is Yes very disappointing. Unfortunately, I know of no other company manufacturing another comparable belt/heart monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basic and easy to use My chest transmitter went out, and I decided to try a Fitbit. I found that it was not nearly as easy to use - does more stuff, of course, but the equipment I use at the facility I go to could not pick up my heart rate from the Fitbit. So I bought another chest strap transmitter and am a happy camper again!
