Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it, but not all the time I've had this for about a year and a half, so I feel as though I can provide a objective review based on lengthy use. Ive used it hiking, mtn biking, road biking, walking/running, and cross country skiing. I've paired the H7 with two different iPhones; a 4s, and a 6 both running the latest iOS operating system at the time of use. And, recently, I've used it with my Apple Watch as well. The H7, paired with the polar app on my iPhone(s) and Apple Watch, is able to provide me with excellent info. And I've come to depend on this information. It does get frustrating when there are connection issues. These issues arise and are made worse during 3 different situations; A. iOS updates B. Low Battery situations (obviously) C. Battery replacements The issue manifests itself by its inability to connect to your iPhone. (I have no experience with Android devices so I can't comment on that). There are two different -reset- tricks that can be used, and by employing one or both of them, them I've always gotten it to connect. The sequence is important. Always make sure you start with the app completely off (not running in the background). Here are the steps; 1. Make sure the iOS app is off. Remove the H7 battery. Attach the unit to the strap without the battery. Wear it for 5 minute as you normally would (no battery). Take it off and put the battery back in. Turn on Bluetooth Start the app Pair it through the app, not through iOS system settings 2. Make sure the iOS app is totally off and not running in the background. Remove the battery. Using a paper clip, connect the paper clip to each of the gold battery connectors inside the unit. Wait a couple of seconds Put the battery back in Turn on Bluetooth Start the app Pair it through the app, not through iOS system settings The pairing issues may have more to do with the finicky/fussy Apple iOS Bluetooth, than they perhaps do with the H7 itself. I say this because I've used other brands of Bluetooth HR monitors and I have had the same issues. The difference is that I've been able to solve the Polar H7 issues and not issues from other monitors. So I have new monitors in the drawer that I can't get to work. These were a waste of money. Also, MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE HR MONITOR FROM THE CHEST BELT AFTER EACH USE. To disconnect, unsnap at least one side of the H7. If there comes a time when I can't get this one to work, I'll buy another one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Caution, travellers! Don't put your H7 in your checked luggage when you fly! My H7 worked great for two years, but suddenly died when I took it on vacation. I don't recall seeing any warnings in the H7 manual about airport security, so I didn't think anything of it. Unfortunately, my unit was a gift so I don't have the receipt for warranty service. I would have rated the H7 five stars if it hadn't been for this experience. Hopefully others can learn from my mistake.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked great until needed battery changed I have a FT4 with the matching H1 that I bought a couple of years ago. They hooked up great, until recently. I had a back injury and was unable to workout for a year so they laid in a drawer, I was going to use them again but the battery was dead in the watch so I replace both, watch and sensor. (pulled batteries and replace with same as they had) now I can not get the sensor to work. Watch is working fine, if I get a blue tooth sensor will it work with the FT4, I do not think it will work with my Lumia 640 windows 8.1 phone but maybe if it works with the Polar watch I could at least have a working set again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product with Android I got a Huawei android watch for Christmas but the heart monitor wasn't very accurate so I purchased the H7. I have been using for 3 weeks and it has been working great. I didn't love the Polar app so I use Endomondo app and it sync's and works great. Very impressed so far. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because I haven't had for that long. I will update to 5 stars after a few months if everything keeps up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Battery is terrible and replacing it is worse I loved my Bluetooth heart rate sensor for the first year and then the battery died and died, and died again. I tried a variety of manufacturers from a variety of retailers. Removing the back panel is not as simple as it seems. The groove is not deep enough and is easily "stripped" making it impossible to ever remove the back panel. Customer service is not much help either. I have pervious owned 3 different 'middle of the road' heart rate sensors over the past 12 years from this company. The blue tooth strap is my forth purchase. I am going to explore other options/companies for my heart rate sensor needs

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great product, but! I loved my sensor since the first time, until I need to replace the battery. I bought the same model from Panasonic, and after I replace, my sensor never work again, I would give 5 stars if it was truely battery replaceble. I bought
