We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced HR Specialist to join our team.

This role is for you if you like payroll, and you approach your work with a customer service approach and positive energy. You take responsibility, handling even unexpected situations with confidence. You will be diligent, efficient and focused on the essentials.  

Your main responsibilities will be

• Operational payroll tasks and being the first point of contact for payroll related queries
• Provide guidance and support to employees and supervisors on HR-related matters especially regarding payroll
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency of payroll data and processes, e.g. checking accuracy of payroll data and HRIS data, ensuring that the data transferred to payroll is accurate and vice versa
• Travel claims and expenses 
• HR reporting 
• Keeps up-to-date with software that is not directly transmitted from HRIS 

We are expecting you to have 

• Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role (+5 years) preferably international environment
• Payroll knowledge – solid know-how about HR processes, whether through education or practical experience and experience working also with an outsourced payroll provider
• A proactive approach to overcoming challenges and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor legislation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and good command both in English and Finnish 
• Proficiency/ good understanding in HRIS software and Microsoft Office and for digital solutions and HR technology 
• Service and HR excellence – a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences
• Independence and collaboration - working both autonomously and as a part of the team

We are now looking for service-oriented talent to join our team to work as a Controller in our Finance team in Kempele, Finland. 

In this position, you will gain hands-on experience in supporting sales and business management in decision-making and finance and business processes in global environment. 

As a Controller your responsibilities will include: 

• Prepare monthly reports on group sales and business performance
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from the BI reporting tool (product-level, customer-level, and corporate-focused)   
• Support cash flow management with consolidation of cash flow forecasting and analysis
• Act as a key user for finance business applications
• Participate in system and reporting enhancements
• Collaborate on budget and forecast preparation
• Assist management and business units in cost analysis and forecasting
• Manage Group Profit and Cost Centers set-up, including hierarchy updates, and creation or closure of centers

To be successful in this position you need to have 1-3 years working experience from similar tasks, preferably in a global business environment and a relevant degree (e.g. BS/MS in Economics or in Industrial Business and Management). You have excellent Excel skills and previous experience in various reporting tools; we value knowledge in SAP, Cognos and Tagetik. Additional system skills are considered as an advantage. Fluency in written and spoken Finnish and English is a must in our global environment.
