Caring for your Polar Product

Your Polar goes where you go – and if you go somewhere where there’s dirt, sweat and tears, your Polar product most probably deserves a bit of looking after. Here are some quick and dirty tips to get you started:

  • If you wear it on your wrist, rinse and dry it after use
  • Don’t use the USB sync if the product is wet or sweaty
  • If you use the Polar H10 heart rate sensor, remove the sensor completely from the soft strap after use to save battery and keep it working longer, better, faster, stronger
  • Wash the soft strap (remove the sensor first) with mild soap every once in a while
  • Don’t leave the device in extreme cold (below –10 °C/14 °F) and heat (above 50 °C/120 °F) or under direct sunlight.
