KEMPELE, FINLAND – MARCH 25, 2026, 1PM EET – Polar today launched Polar Street X, a durable, urban-ready sports watch that brings Polar training and recovery features, long-lasting battery life, and award-winning design to a more affordable price point. Street X features a 1.28-inch AMOLED touchscreen display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, built-in GPS with compass and barometer plus route guidance, support for more than 170 sports and activities, and Polar’s first integrated LED flashlight with quick switching between white and red light.
Street X is designed for a new generation of sport enthusiasts and health‑conscious urban users whose routines move effortlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces, structured workouts and spontaneous movement, and training and everyday life. Built to handle the demands of city life, from daily knocks and bumps to crowded commutes and life on the move, Street X features a reinforced polymer body and an eight‑screw chassis, while still staying light at just 48 grams. For added durability, it’s tested to MIL‑STD‑810H standards and water‑resistant to WR50.

Built for hybrid training
With support for more than 170 sports and activities, Polar Street X covers everything, from long-standing favorites like strength training, running, HIIT, and cycling to rapidly growing disciplines such as functional training and calisthenics. Beyond workouts, Street X gives users a complete picture of their recovery with an advanced suite of recovery and sleep tracking tools, including Training Load Pro and Nightly Recharge™, helping them track progress over time and know when their body is ready to push again.
Sleep tracking on Street X automatically detects sleep duration, quality, and stages, including light, deep, and REM sleep, throughout the night. It also supports recovery insights by monitoringnighttime heart rate, heart rate variability, autonomic nervous system activity, and it includes nightly skin temperature measurement.
To support this continuous tracking, Polar Street X offers up to 10 days of battery life in smartwatch mode. When it comes to training, it supports up to 43 hours with continuous GPS and optical heart rate tracking enabled, or up to 170 hours depending on different power-saving settings.
