This integration enables automatic synchronization of planned, phased workouts from TrainingPeaks to Polar Flow, which then delivers these workouts to compatible Polar sports watches.
By connecting their Polar Flow and TrainingPeaks accounts, users can ensure that workoutsâwhether prescribed by their coach or created by themselves on the TrainingPeaks platformâ are immediately available on their Polar sports watch. During training sessions, the watch provides real-time guidance through each workout phase, helping them target specific heart rate zones, maintain optimal speed, or hit prescribed power targets.

This new feature, launching initially as a beta release, empowers Polar Flow users to access and import the extensive library of hundreds of specialized workouts and comprehensive training plans available within TrainingPeaks. For athletes working with more than five training zones, the integration intelligently maps these expanded zones into Polar's five-zone training systemâpreserving workout intent while maintaining the familiar Polar training experience users have come to trust.
After each training session, workout data automatically synchronizes back to TrainingPeaks, enabling coaches and athletes to conduct in-depth analysis, track progress against training goals, and make data-driven adjustments to future workout plans.
Availability
The TrainingPeaks integration is available across Polar's entire current lineup of sports watches, ensuring all recent Polar users can take advantage of this enhanced functionality. The integration also extends backward compatibility to a large number of past models, including the performance-focused Polar Vantage V and the popular Polar M430. This makes the integration available to most Polar users.
All Polar users with a TrainingPeaks accountâwhether using the basic free tier or premium subscriptionâcan import workouts directly into Polar Flow. While the core synchronization features are accessible to everyone, certain advanced TrainingPeaks functionalities remain exclusive to TrainingPeaks Premium subscribers, providing additional value for those who choose to upgrade.
