Looking ahead, the motivation to race remains strong: 52% of surveyed Polar users said they plan to participate in an organized race next year.
Having a structured training plan makes all the difference when it comes to reaching fitness goals and Polar users know it. In 2025, 59% of users reported following a structured plan to guide their workouts.
At the center of smart training is heart rate. In 2025, 87% of Polar users tracked their heart rate during workouts to guide intensity, making it one of the most relied-upon metrics in the Polar community.
