As someone who is comforted by and interested in data, Polar has given me some great training tools. I analyze daily workouts and weekly progress on the PolarFlow App and have been using the wrist heart rate and recovery tracking tools like the orthostatic test to guide my ever-evolving fitness levels during my last few marathon buildups. I feel that these tools help me find exactly where the fine line between progress and overtraining sits and keeps me on the productive side of things!
