We need a doer — a security leader who understands the reality of modern tech environments and knows how to make things happen. You will oversee security governance and risk management, and you support business objectives while enabling fast and secure value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement the company’s information security strategy
- Align security strategy with compliance requirements
- Integrate security into daily operations for example by ensuring security risks are analyzed and managed
- Communicate security posture to senior executives and the board in clear, business-oriented language.
- Collaborate with all Polar functions globally
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong background in information security leadership and risk management.
- Proven experience with real life software driven projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams and senior executives.
- Relevant educational degree and valid Security Certifications are considered being beneficial
- Knowledge and hands on experience applying international information security standards
- Fluent spoken and written English skills.
Location
Preferred location is Polar Headquarters at Kempele, other Polar locations in Finland are negotiable (Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Tampere). At Polar we work in hybrid work model.
