Ever dreamed of making your workouts matter? We have and finally made it happen with Polar and adidas.
In May-June 2020, we partnered with adidas in the #HOMETEAMHERO Challenge to encourage our communities to log one million hours of activity across adidas Running + Training apps.
So, why these workouts truly mattered? The purpose was to support the WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Fund, just by doing what we all love to do – exercise!
We challenged our communities to make every active minute matter from serious training sessions to easy forest walks. Every minute tracked was collectively crucial since adidas added up all minutes to donate $1 for every hour of activity for up to $1 million dollars total donation to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for World Health Organisation.
Activities Included In The #Hometeamhero challenge
Every active minute logged into the app, including all activities logged on a Polar watch, counted as cumulative towards the goal.
The indoor and outdoor sports on Polar Flow that count towards the goal of 1 million active hours:
- Strength training
- Track&field running
- Trail running
- Treadmill running
- Water skiing
Challenge Is over, but adidas running app is available
The #HOMETEAMHERO Challenge is over, but if you can still be a #HOMEATEAMHERO – you know, in your home team!
