Polar Running Performance Test white paper

Endurance running is a fundamental human skill that everyone can train regardless of age, gender or fitness level. To obtain individual training guidance, as opposed to general training guidance that is the same for everybody, some performance parameters should be known. To achieve personalization of training guidance, we have developed Running performance test, which is fully guided and simple to take. After completing the test, user has the opportunity to update heart rate, speed and power zones. Once these zones are based on test results, we can provide individual training guidance. The test requires heart rate and speed and is thus available through your Polar watch. You can also use your heart rate sensor, such as Polar H10.
