Polar Grit X2 brings all of Polar’s premium outdoor features—navigation, biosensing, and specialized training and recovery tools—into a more affordable, durable, and compact form than ever before.
With optimized screen size, slimmer profile, and lighter build, Grit X2 is Polar’s most compact outdoor watch to date. It is built for those who live actively, moving from city streets to summit trails and everything in between, blending rugged durability with 24/7 wearability, and combining premium outdoor features with a design that feels at home in any setting.

The Polar Grit X2 is a masterclass in modern and beautiful outdoor design, effortlessly adaptable for any situation, and ready for every journey. It reflects Polar’s Nordic, award-winning design heritage where form follows function, and simplicity meets purpose. Every detail is intentional, from the clean silhouette and compact case to the compass-etched stainless-steel bezel and tactile buttons optimized for gloved hands. The result is a watch that’s rugged and durable for exploration but refined enough to wear anywhere.
The colorful 1.28” AMOLED display is protected by sapphire crystal glass, combining everyday durability with excellent visibility in sunlight, on the move, or in harsh outdoor conditions. Grit X2 meets the latest military 810H standards, built to withstand extreme temperatures, high altitudes, shock, and immersion.
Available in Night Black and Brown Copper, and compatible with standard 22mm wristbands, Grit X2 adapts to anything, from intense workouts to weekend adventures and everyday wear.
Navigating without limits
Navigation features have quickly become a favorite among Polar users, highlighting just how important confidence and direction are during outdoor workouts and activities. Just like on the premium Grit X2 Pro, Grit X2 is equipped with full-color offline topographic maps. Maps are preloaded and ready to use, with support for points of interest and route elevation profiles to help users understand their journey before they even begin.
Whether heading out for a day hike or a multi-day trek, battery life won’t be a concern. Grit X2 provides up to 90 hours of use in Eco training mode, 30 hours in Performance mode, and a full week of everyday wear in Smartwatch mode. With 32 GB of internal storage and a rechargeable and replaceable battery, it’s engineered for longevity, both for the trail and across years of use.
Training smarter, recovering better
At the core of Grit X2 is Polar Elixir™, Polar’s most advanced biosensing platform to date. With 4th-generation optical heart rate (OHR), wrist-based ECG, blood oxygen saturation, and skin temperature sensing, Grit X2 delivers not just data, but deeper insight into how the body performs, recovers, and adapts in real time.
These capabilities feed directly into Polar’s most trusted tools, including Nightly Recharge™, Training Load Pro, and the Orthostatic Test, helping users make informed decisions about when to train, when to rest, and how to adapt to changing conditions, whether at high altitude, in recovery mode, or mid-season peak.
Built to evolve
Grit X2 runs on the same operating system as the Grit X2 Pro, ensuring it stays compatible with Polar’s future feature updates, including planned enhancements to training, recovery, and navigation.
All training and activity data, personal wellness insights, and route planning are integrated into the Polar Flow ecosystem, a connected platform and mobile app where users can analyze workouts, track long-term progress, customize sport profiles, and sync routes and data across devices.

Beginning June 4, 2025, Polar Grit X2 will be available globally (excluding the United States) via polar.com and select retail partners, with a US launch planned for later.
