For me, it’s very important to see that I’m recovered enough during hard training periods. I know what it’s like when you’re overtrained and the Polar Vantage V is a great tool for following the Training Load. I use Polar Vantage V also for measuring my heart rate, so I know that the workout is improving the right qualities. In competitions, the Vantage V calms me down. I know what to do and when and that I’m ready when the gun goes off!
