DEVICE INTERFACE TOOLKIT

If you’re an application developer wanting to create software products that utilize Polar heart rate monitors, our MS Windows interface Toolkit can make it happen. The Toolkit can be used to transfer heart rate and other data between defined Polar products and PCs using either the built-in infrared (IrDA) port, the optional Polar infrared interface unit or by using the SonicLink transfer. It will also enable UpLink transfers from PCs to defined Polar products, plus online recording from the Polar S810i wrist unit to PCs using Polar infrared communication. Details of how to implement the Toolkit can be downloaded for free from the, Toolkit documentation section once you have accepted the electronic license agreement. Due to the reliability issues Polar shall not disclose the exact communication protocol.
