Shortcut buttons in Polar RS Training Computers

You can use some buttons on your Polar RS200/RS300X/RS400/RS800/RS800CX as shortcuts to different functions. Just press and hold the button for one second.


Press and hold the Back button to return to time view at any point.

In Time view press and hold:
- Light button to enter Quick menu where you can lock buttons, set alarm, change time zone and set the training computer to sleep mode. With RS400/RS800/RS800CX you can also add Reminders.
- Up button to change watch face (RS400/RS800/RS800CX).
- OK button to start training session recording.
- Down button to change time zone.



During the training press and hold
- Down to zoom the display.


RS200/RS300X:
Light button during training
- Enters Quick menu where you can lock buttons, set target zone alarm ON/OFF, change heart rate and speed views and set HeartTouch and AutoLap functions ON/OFF.

Light button in File → Exercise log
- Deletes the selected training file.

Up button in exercise wait mode
- Changes the exercise type


RS400/RS800/RS800CX:
Light button during the training
- Enters Quick menu where you can

a) in RS400: lock buttons, set target zone alarm ON/OFF, change heart rate view, set HeartTouch and AutoLap functions ON/OFF and calibrate S1 footpod.
b) in RS800: lock buttons, set target zone alarm ON/OFF, change heart rate view, calibrate s3 stride sensor, take Seek sensor action and set AutoLap function ON/OFF.
c) in RS800CX: lock buttons, set target zone alarm ON/OFF, change heart rate and speed views, calibrate s3 stride sensor, take Seek sensor action and set AutoLap function ON/OFF.

Light button in File → Exercise log
- Deletes the selected training file or adds information (rank, feeling, temperature and distance).

Down button in exercise wait mode
- Switches between the shoes and/or bikes.

Up button in exercise wait mode
- Changes the exercise type.
