Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect This works a lot better than the belt shipped with the FT60 heart rate monitor. That belt is the M-XXL version. That goes up only to a 35" inch chest. The M-XXL belt with fit around my 40" inch chest, but gradually stretches out of shape and fails. Note to Polar engineers: If a belt fails, the customer receives no notification. First impulse is to replace the battery on the monitor. Last thing to realize is that the belt itself is bad. It would be nice if the heart rate transmitter had a LED that would display all okay.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soft Straps Continue to Fail I have gone through roughly a half dozen soft straps over the last few months. I have followed the care and maintenance procedures recommended by Polar. I swim daily and cycle roughly 100 miles per week. REALLY frustrating when you have to keep multiple straps on hand "just in case." Also had one sensor fail after about 6 months. Really like my V800 though. Very nice fitness tracker! Have contacted Polar regarding the soft strap issue. No resolution yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good investment The old style stripes were not as comfortable and/or were not easy to sync with the watch. This model is comfortable and does sync right away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent replacement! Bought this to replace one several years old. Fit is better than the old worn one & works as expected.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works as advertised. Strap works fine. Disappointed that Polar does not warrant the strap for the same warranty period as the watch. Very disappointed that I had to spend another $20 to keep the watch working as a monitor

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great strap, but one troublesome issue After a couple years, my old Polar strap had come to its end, even after following all the maintenance recommendations (cleaning, new battery, etc). The heart rate sensor was not being recognized by my watch upon starting my workout. Upon purchasing my new strap, it has connected with my HRM right away every time. However, the one troublesome issue, is that the clasp on the strap tends to be uncomfortable while working out. The old strap/clasp design was much better and I never had an issue of the clasp directly affecting the body while working out. Other than this, the new strap has worked flawlessly.
