#PolarProud As the year winds down, it’s crazy to think how far along I’ve come in my fitness journey. Back in January I decided I wanted to get fit. To help keep myself accountable I bought a @polarglobal V800 watch. Little did I know how much of a difference a little reminder on my wrist would make. What started with me hardly being able to run a mile without stopping culminated with me finishing 10th overall in the TriKW Duathlon 2 weeks ago in Key West Florida. Now I take advantage of all the features and metrics the V800 provides to help me continue to become a better athlete. @polarglobal asked users what their proudest fitness or sports moment for 2016 was. Mine was definitely completing my first full marathon with my awesome friend @rdontherun in Detroit this October at the @freepmarathon and having our amazing families and friends there to cheer us on! Plus @the_thunder_crook completed his second half while he waited for me. Four years ago I was obese. Today I am 100 pounds lighter and 100% happier thanks to running.
