My training strategy of running until I was lost, finding a payphone and calling a friend or family member to fetch me, tracking my route backwards in the car to measure the distance I had travelled was not going to work when I moved to Sudan. Getting serious about distance, daylight and time was easy with my PolarF6... so much so that I entered, ran and finished the Boston Marathon!
