On April 16, 2003 the left anterior decending artery of my heart was 100 % blocked. After being shocked 5 times and 2 stents being inserted, I servived "the widow maker". During cardiac rehabilitation, I looked for a way to exercise while monitoring my heart. A recommendation was made to look at Polar and I got S150. When it finally quit I got a RS300X. My wife and I decided several things after my heart attack. 1. I didn't want to do that again. 2. We had to change our diet. 3. I needed to exercise a lot more. Coming up on my 8th anaversary I've finished 4 marathons, a bunch of halfs and lesser races. Lost and kept off some 75 pounds. Polar has been a big part of my journey.
