Shortcut buttons in Polar FA20/FT4/FT7/FT40/FT60/FT80


Certain buttons on your Polar FA20/FT4/FT7/FT40/FT60/FT80 can be used as shortcuts to different functions. Just press and hold the button for one second.

Press and hold the Back button to return to time view at any point.

In Time view press and hold:
- Light to enter Quick menu where you can lock buttons, set alarm, change time mode. With FT60/FT80 you can also calibrate Polar S1 foot pod.
- Up to change watch face.
- OK to start training session recording.
- Down to change time zone.

During training press and hold:
- Light to enter 'Quick menu' where you can lock buttons or adjust training sounds. With FT60/FT80, you can also calibrate S1 foot pod and with FT4/FT7 you can change heart rate view.
- OK to lock a training zone with FT7/FT40/FT60/FT80.

Light button with FT4/FT7:
- Deletes the selected training file when in Data → Training files .

Light button with FT40/FT60:
- Deletes the selected training file when in Data → Training files .
- Deletes the selected OwnIndex value when in Applications → Fitness test → OwnIndex results you can delete.

Light button with FT80:
- Deletes the selected training file when in Data → Training files .
- Deletes the selected OwnIndex value when in Applications → Fitness test → OwnIndex results you can delete.
- Resets the stopwatch when in Applications → Stopwatch.
- Deletes the selected OwnRelax value when in Applications → Relaxation test → OwnRelax results.
